This method allows family members to conveniently view shared photos, enhancing family photo management and sharing experiences.

7. Where to view files from USB drives, external hard drives, or SATA drives?

You can access files stored in USB drives, external hard drives, or SATA drives by navigating to the External Devices section in the NAS application. Once connected, the drives will appear in the file manager.

8. How to view files shared by other accounts?

To view files shared by other accounts, follow these steps:

  1. Open the app homepage and click Shared Files in the toolbar.

  2. In the Others' Shares page, find and click the user whose files you want to view.

  3. Enter the shared page of the user to browse all files they have shared.

This feature allows you to easily access files shared by others, enabling collaborative viewing and usage.

9. Why can't files be found in the search?

  • File content has just been uploaded and is not indexed yet:

The NAS system's search function uses an indexing mechanism instead of real-time search. If you have just uploaded files or created new folders, the system needs time to build the index. Until indexing is complete, these files may not appear in search results. Please try searching again later to ensure the files have been indexed.

  • Search scope is incorrectly set:

The NAS search function is based on the current directory level. Search results are limited to files within the directory and its subdirectories:

    • Homepage search box: Searches all files in the entire storage space.

    • Storage-level search: For example, in "Storage Space A," the search scope is limited to all files and folders under that storage space.

    • Directory-level search: For example, in "Directory B" within "Storage Space A," the search scope is limited to files within that directory and its subdirectories.

Ensure you are searching within the correct directory level to find the desired files.

10. Can a single NAS device create multiple accounts?

Yes, NAS devices do not limit the number of accounts that can be created.

On the device, there can only be one administrator account, but the administrator can create multiple shared accounts as needed, making it convenient for multiple users to manage and access data.

Notes:
  • Although there is no limit to the number of shared accounts, too many simultaneous accesses may affect device performance.

  • Reduced device performance can result in slower access speeds for each account, negatively impacting user experience.

To ensure device stability and access speed, it is not recommended to create too many shared accounts.

11. Why does the folder still appear after deletion and refreshing?

This occurs because the file system does not execute all operations in real-time. When you delete a folder on the page, it submits a deletion task. If the system receives many operation requests within a short time, these tasks will be executed sequentially.

If the folder still appears after refreshing, please wait patiently for the system to complete the operation.

Check the status of current file operation tasks: You can view the execution status of file operations in the homepage [Tasks] > [Others] section.

12. How to activate the encrypted space?

  2. Set a secondary password: Create a dedicated secondary password for the encrypted space.

  3. Set a hint: Enter a hint to help you remember the secondary password in the future.

  4. Select storage space: Choose the space where encrypted files will be stored and complete the activation.

Notes:
  • Password cannot be recovered: If you forget the encrypted space password, the only solution is to reset the encrypted space.

  • Data cleared after reset: Resetting will erase all data in the encrypted space, so proceed with caution.

13. How to upload files to the encrypted space?

  1. Upload within the encrypted space:

    • Enter the Encrypted Space, click the blue plus button, and select files from your device to upload to the encrypted space.
